NutriBiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract

      Grapefruit seed extract is used to heal and clear many conditions. It has been used for over 30 years to clear infections caused by parasites, bacteria, fungi and viruses. It detoxifies the body and supports the immune system, while clearing infections of both known and unknown origins. It is nontoxic and doesn't have any harmful side effects, and for this reason, it is a popular choice in treating illness, as many medications and antibiotics can leave the body and immune system depleted after use.

      Properties: alkaline and acid levels must be balanced in the body, which is referred to as the pH level. Excess acids create oxidation, effectively causing the body decay and become sick. While grapefruit seed extract is very bitter and tastes acidic, it actually has an alkaline effect on the body. Grapefruit seed extract's powerful antibacterial, anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties make it useful in fighting a large range of infections, parasites and viruses. It can be used both internally and externally to treat gastrointestinal and digestive upsets, infections and viruses of any kind, including the flu, tooth and gum infections, ear and throat infections, sinusitis, chronic fatigue, parasite infections and much more.
      Treatment: Grapefruit seed extract can be taken in both liquid and capsule form. The capsules are usually the equivalent of 10 drops in liquid form. This is approximately 100 to 125 mg. A common dosage for many conditions is 10 to 15 drops a day or two to three capsules three times a day. It is wise to consult a health care practitioner to find out the best dosage for you.
      Considerations: Grapefruit seed extract is safe for consumption by both humans and animals, and there are no known side effects from taking it. Although it can be taken every day for many years in small doses, it is not recommended. It is advised that the extract be taken in its correct dosage when it is required.
